Association Committees
Listed below are
the current committees in our organization, with a brief description of
their purpose. We welcome volunteers to join any of our committees and
any suggestions for new committees. Should you be interested, please email

Borough Council
Committee
(2nd & 4th Wed. of month, 8:30 pm)
We attend,
report and participate when necessary at all council meetings.

Board of Adjustment
Committee
(3rd Wed. of month, 8:00 pm)
The Board of Adjustment considers variances to the zoning code for construction
and renovation purposes. We attend and report information.

Board of Education
Committee
(4th Tuesday of month, 7:30 pm, High School)
We attend, report and participate when necessary.

Planning Board
Committee
(1st and 3rd Tuesday of month, 8:00 pm)
The Planning Board considers matters within the Master Plan in Ramsey,
such as large renovation projects, new construction and business locations.

By-Laws Committee
Review and re-write when necessary and interpret the By-Laws of the RCA.

Civic Activities
Committee
Organize our participation in activities in Ramsey, such as Ramsey Day.

Auditing Committee
Reviews all elected officers in the organization to ensure they are properly
discharging their duties as outlined in the By-Laws.

Committee
Maintains a chronological record of the RCA, such as news articles, photos,
etc.

Citizen Assistance
Committee
Provides any assistance we can to citizens of Ramsey as requested and
to develop ideas to render such assistance, i.e. rides for seniors to
election polls and veterans affairs.

Voter Registration
& Education Committee
Educates citizens on the importance of voting and aids them in registering.

Science Committee
Maintains our website and keeps us apprised of any information that may
make our website more accessible and informative.

Decides when and if the RCA should become involved in any issue of a political
nature.
